If that family wanted a Jag so badly why didnt they just get one? They were rolling in it anyway. But I did think it was good what Martin did with their money.

I dont think the woman was particularly interested in having a Jag though.

Do you think we could have a lone parent on £120 per week benefit on the site?

Gutted that I didnt know Martin was in Southport I would have spent the day storking him ;) . Have recorded this episode and will be keeping to show the in-laws they are terrible for being loyal customers, dread to think how much money they've wasted over the year

  • another good programme. i wonder how much that would cost if a financial advisor was employed for the day without a television crew?

i can relate to that couple in some respects. i'm not as cash rich as they appeared to be by a long way, but it's suddenly put a halt to proceedings as far as an offset mortgage is concerned. it's time to shop around.

as for people saying they're already rich? i agree, but they were making companies richer by being loyal. a fault i readily hold my hands up to and admit i do the same. and it would be nice to see someone who was classed as 'poor' having the advice, but i think this programme was more about how some of us, as someone mentioned, are loyal to a certain bank because we remember the time when everyone was on 1st name terms with the banks staff?

but whatever the pros and cons, they saved a hell of a lot of money and good luck to them. i'm enjoying each programme thoroughly. and they've all been nice families as far as i can see.

did people write in to this site to get on the shows?
  • Have a read at Martin's post here where he announced the series which did indeed give people the chance to apply to be on the show.

    ;)

i backtracked and got there eventually.

good spotting gatra. you've got some courage too. our lass would spend so much having the place decorated before a film crew was allowed in, i'd be in more debt that i am now ;)
