Info please on Click Energy (BG)
Options
Hi, we're on dual fuel with British Gas, having switched from separate suppliers previously, as a comparison site put them as cheapest. However, now we've got a letter increasing the price threefold  (which I think is down to the price hike AND us being refunded credit recently).
Obviously, I now need to check for a cheaper supply, but I can't find our scheme to make the comparison. Can anyone help please?
The docs from BG tell me we are on the "Click Energy" tariff (no number), but I couldn't see this tariff on uSwitch, only other Click Energy tariffs such as Click 5 etc.
Am I not reading these sites correctly, or is this scheme not included.
Many thanks for any advice, HJ

Why not use the default suppliers and tariff for your post code? I think that generally they are the dearest. Then, if you know your yearly consumption, input that and see what comes up cheapest.0

Thanks oldwiring for your quick reply. I'll have a closer look at the comparison websites tonight, and give that a go. HJ0

I know energy prices have done up, but no supplier has increased prices 3 fold.
I think you are looking at the amount they deduct by DD, not the amount you consume or unit charge. They are all entirely different things!
The only really accurate way to compare costs is to look at annual consumption figures in kWh."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Premier, you are absolutely right. It IS the DD that is going up by a shocking amount, and I hate paying more than I have to, so am now prompted to seek a cheaper supply. Fortunately I now have the usage details of both Electricity and Gas over a year, so can make the comparison. HJ.0
