  • Thanks, Claire, but I am not eligible for any grants being self-employed and earning. Pity these things are so expensive!!
    Blagged: free samples of handwash from Molton Brown; booklet of walks from Brecon Carreg;
    Free Diabetes monitor, free bee-friendly seeds, a MINI coin and a splash-proof book from Radox.:T
  • If your self emplyed and the trike would help you do your job you might qualify under access to work.

    Thanks again but I have a car for work. This would qualify as pleasure only!

    Hi

    Have you tried WhizzKids.

    I got a bike for my disabled daughter who was 15 at the time. It was a trike adult size and to buy it was £700, but I had to make a donation of £35.00 towards it. Its been fantastic. If you google them you will find them Im sorry I dont know how to put links up.

    They make a bike for your specific needs ie if you need a back rest or larger seat, gears or no gears. There is a process to go through when you apply but it is well worth the wait.

    Cant hurt to try them. Good luck
