Adult Trike wanted

Hello! I have a balance problem because of my hearing, and it was recommended that I try a 3 wheeled trike, e.g. a Pashley.
I would love to get something but I have been quoted from £399 for a 3 wheeler and from £599 for a Pashley, new.
I tried eBay for a second-hand one, but they are all too far away to pick up and delivery is around £50, though I would be prepared to consider paying that for the right bike.
Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas?
Thanks!

Sorry , this is a difficult one.
I ended up getting a new Di Blasi R32 after months and months of searching for a second hand trike.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. I had a search of the internet and came up with the following (although they all seem to be a bit pricey).

If I had the space I would get one because I too have a balance problem and can no longer ride a bike even a motorbike is out for me (tut).0 -
mrs.maverick, whereabouts in the country are you?? I know of a cracker of a mountain bike based tricycle that is for sale, I have seen the photos. I would buy it myself, but it's too far away for me, it's in the Essex area.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member # 593 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts!0

Thank you for the replies!
I am based in South Wales, so the one in Chepstow might be of interest.
The Mission trikes look good too, but as you say, not cheap! I am not eligible for any grants,alas!Blagged: free samples of handwash from Molton Brown; booklet of walks from Brecon Carreg;

hiya,
have you had a look on the direct.gov site at the community care grants?
could you get one of those to put money towards the trike?
