im shocked - the lender has now decided to give me the mortgage, the headman agreed that my application should not of been declined, being a born worrier though they are now asking for 3 yrs employment history, not a problem and i have supplied them with that, but im now worrying in case they come up with another excuse not to proceed. i was in the same job for 7 yrs but then changed jobs 3 times in just over a year to eventually get the job i am in now.

As long as you have been in the same type of work for that time you should be ok and no gaps in between.

hi mic, yes it was all same kind of work, had a gap of around 5 weeks during xmas period when i finished one job and started the other, the reason being was the office was broken into just before i was due to start, then christmas came so they thought it best that i start after xmas.
