£18.81 spent last Friday at Mr T's and it looks like I could come in om budger.

£11.40 left only need potatoes, eggs and some lunch packup:j
  • Whew - just made it. Declaring at £98.47 (£1.43 left out of £100.00) as my next month's shopping money gets paid in on Friday and I don't think I'll need anything until next week now. Plan to keep Christmas separate from GC as it will be a joint operation between me, my dd and my eldest dgd. We're all broke so will keep spending to a minimum but I've no idea what it will be yet.

CW18 - so very sorry to hear your sad news.
    Dec GC £100/76.61/16.46/10.19 - £103.26
    Jan GC £100/64.20/20.91 (£14.89 left)

When you set your budget is it just the food budget you count or for bills as well or does it not matter.

I am setting a food budget for December, this is without bills but includes toiletries and cleaning stuff.

My budget for December is £160.00.

Not sure bout budget for anything else yet, will add my budget to my siggy soon.

A very strange month- I only did one Aldi shop and a few midweek trips to the local frozen food store for bread, milk and bits- so I spent under £60. Reasons; worked away two weekends and had flu one of the others. OH has been to Tesco twice but only spent under £40 in total on groceries. So this brings November total to £100.
I am going to take a break from the challenge for December as its hard to keep up at the moment- but I have been shopping and cooking in an OS way and this will continue.
My biggest lesson learned so far: don't shop to feed the cupboards- I can never see what is at the back anyway!
See you in January!!!!! Have an enjoyable time with families and friends over Christmas :A

    Well
I suppose you could say I have failed spectacularly again this month. I have, however done a heck of a lot better than I did last month, so that's a plus. Gonna take a look at my spending diary over next couple of days and then set my target when I officially delare for this month. I need to see where we are going wrong.

Well done to anyone who is anywhere near their target this month (escpecially as we are coming to crimbo).
