Dont suppose you have heard of a company called Cabolt Finance (or similar sounding) or if you know that theyare a debt collection company?0
-
only the ppl you had the agreement with can take you to court.
if it hasnt appeared on your credit file you can just ignore it
although any debt advice frim will tell you it has to be repiad
never deal with debt collectors
just deal with the original comapny
if they ahve sold the debt they have been apid with theinsurace you apid for.
Gnever take advice from broke or unsuccessful people

I think this is it because they take over debts then collect/arrange payment ::)0 -
Yet again thanks thats a great help0

Also if you intend to pay you can negotiate - to them its a lost cause and they will want all they can get.
If you do this you need to make sure they agree to update your credit file (which you should check anyway)0 -
It is wrong to run out on debt, and it will catch up with you one way or another. What kind of person do you want to see when you look in the mirror?
The fact that they have sold the debt to someone else is not relevant to what kind of person you are going to be. They had every right to sell it, just as the people who bought it had every right to buy it.
The limitation on how long they can chase you may run out, but the limitation on a conscience never does. If you clear it, you'll always be proud of having done the right thing.I have five stars! This doesn't mean that I know anything about any of the things I post. I could be a raving lunatic, or a brilliant genius, or just some guy on the internet. In fact, I could be all three at the same time.
If anything I say makes sense, then do it. If not, don't. Don't blame me or my stars if you do something stupid because I suggested it. I'm responsible for my own stupidity only. You are responsible for yours.
Why, I don't even have five stars anymore! Aren't you glad you aren't responsible for my stupidity?0 -

WHO ARE YOU TO JUMP ON THE MORAL HIGH HORSE?

Sorry, I agree with Digging Out. This site is about helping people who have got into difficulties and genuinely want to sort it out. It is not about encouraging people to defraud creditors!!0

Whether you agree or disagree with Digging Out, there's no need to be rude.
Did you really feel it was that necessary to write 'DO ONE' ??? That says more about you than the fact you might be trying to avoid your debt.Herman - MP for all!0 -

I'm just a guy on the internet.
Maybe the force of your response shows your conscience is already bothering you.
I don't think the purpose of this forum is to help people run out on debts, but to help people out honestly.I have five stars! This doesn't mean that I know anything about any of the things I post.
