I like the heated towel drier. To be honest if I can't hang washing outside, then I'll put it on airers in the bathroom, with the door closed but window open, and it manages to get dry in a day (or two max). I've never put anything in the drier straight from the washing machine. If I can get the roof on the sun-room fixed I'd put the airer in there cos it gets quite warm even in winter!

    ebay queen (((hugs)))

Strange but this is the first year I haven't been bad with SAD (seasonally affected disorder) which makes me feel just really depressed at this time of year.

I was shocked to hear recently that it is the most common complaint that GPs see each year so go see your GP.

I've had depression once (though on my records it's twice, but I think my GP and I now know it was one long episode). I wasn't eating or sleeping properly, some days I'd sleep for 16 hours straight, others I'd struggle to sleep for an hour at a time. I'd have no energy, I'd certainly not be bothered with my appearance. I felt like I was running through treacle a lot of the time - a LOT of effort for little results. I'd have memory gaps - putting the milk in the oven, coffee in the fridge. I'd decide to do something and the next SECOND I'd completely forgotten what I was going to do. I really thought I was going mad. I took the tablets and when I felt better I weaned myself off them then had mild depression from 2001 (I could live with it but on reflection I was still depressed for that time) until 2005 and what I refer to as the absolute WORST year of my life. This time I took the tablets until the doctor agreed that I could reduce them gradually.

To be honest, knowing that pregnancy and childbirth can exacerbate any mental health issues, I asked and my GP has agreed to refer me to counselling and psychiatric services so that I'm seen just after giving birth (it's my safety net and I hope I don't need it but it makes it easier knowing it's there).

I'm waffling, but wanted to let you know that you're not alone and feel free to pm me anytime.

Oh E-Bay queen, you really sound as though you are struggling at the moment. Why are you scared of what people think of you?
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
