sammy it might be worth trying some bach rescue remedy to ease the stress of the exams, or one of the other bach remedies - head into a health store and ask for something for your nerves/sleep. I have had times in my life when I am sure they have made a difference.
hope everyone has a good day xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
I agree with Hypno on the rescue remedy stuff, I have some in my bag for times of stress and it really helped on the flight to USA.
I have a holiday from work today and no work tomorrow:j I am going in the rest of the week though as our college is moving to a shiny new building so we have to get everything packed up for the move in 6 weeks.
The sun is shining here and I plan to catch up on all of the washing and may even do the boys rooms:eek:
Unless someone comes up with a better offer:rotfl:

Good morning
I've had a strange weekend. Did loads of washing and ironing (neighbours think I'm mad cos I hung the washing out on sunday for 40 minutes betweeen showers) but it lightened enough to only need an hour in the decrepit tumble drier. I think this is going to be the next major purchase cos i cannot fathom how I'll cope with a baby and the old tumble drier!
I started to go through my wardrobe sorting out clothes that don't fit and clothes that I *might* get another month's wear out of. I was left with 3 elasticated skirts, 4 beach wraps and half a dozen jumpers. So this week I'll be washing those that I want to store or sell on ebay and taking the rest to the charity shops.
I'm also looking to have the radiator in the baby's room moved so that the alcove can accommodate a wardrobe and eventually a double bed can be put in that room. I feel like I'm haemorrhaging money at the moment!
Hope everyone has a good day

Me too:D .........actually I have hung the washing out and done a pile of ironing (from last week). But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Cat you sound very organised. I dont have a tumble drier but i am thinking of buying one of these from Lakeland for the days when I just cant get anything dried outside.

A tad pricey but will cost alot less than a tumble drier to run.But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
I too have a list as long as my arm......and down to my legs...:rotfl:
Its not really stress I am suffering from rather more lack of motivation, which is a big problem for me..
The sleep issue is only an issue for OH - he spent all day saying I was grumpy because I had been up at 5am....when actually the fact that we had a major bust up over Kerry Katona of all people and the fact that he said 'people like me! (!!!!!! does that mean:eek: ) have made this country what it is today......was the reason I was grumpy!
I am asleep at 9pm so thats a good 8 hours sleep - who needs more than that...Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

If i might add to the tumble dryer issue....if you are going to get one, get one with the biggest drum you can. Clothes dry much faster in a big drum....Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Right now, I am thinking about the ironing I need to do...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0
