It must be me getting softer as I get older
I used to watch Nightmare on Elmstreet, Hellraiser and other horrors when i was a teenager and I would really enjoy them......................now I can barely watch anything that is slightly unpleasant, I have to leave the room when any torture scenes are on 24 and OH has to tell me when its over:o
Dont know when I became such a wuss:rolleyes:
I can, however sit and watch medical things no problem, I love to watch a good open heart surgery or liver transplant any day of the week:DBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
I've seen one of those Saw things - think it was the first one and it was horrible and scary, never felt the urge to watch anymore. I'm rubbish with scary especially when DS is away and it's only me here!Mortgage OP 2026 £640/2000Mortgage balance: £32,240

Unfortunately I find the "torture !!!!!!" things just to be unpleasant.
Give me a good story any time.
The early Omens were good in that regard - though having world-class actors didn't hurt..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
"We were born and raised in a summer haze." Adele 'Someone like you.'
"Blowing your mind, 'cause you know what you'll find, when you're looking for things in the sky." OMD 'Julia's Song'0 -

I went to see Hide and Seek a couple of years ago at the cinema I think it was Robert De Niro (or someone equally famous) and totally embarrassed myself and ex by jumping out of my seat at one point. I am soooo rubbish!Mortgage OP 2026 £640/2000Mortgage balance: £32,240
