No more NSDs so far! I spent 92p yesterday on snacks I still haven't eaten! Then I went shopping in Sainsburys today for some veg... ended up buying ice cream (half price), crisps (2 for £3 for 12pks), advent calender (ok, I'm a big kid :p), half price Taste the Difference Cava for Xmas, chicken tikka breasts slices (Bogof) bread rolls and the veg! So instead of spending £2 I spent £16!

Little, I know by comparison to what some of you amazing people manage - but until this month I'd NEVER had a NSD - so I feel this is a real achievement!

I'm going to see if I can challenge myself to do another before the end of the month ...

Virtual choccy for you too sweetie! :T :j:dance:   :j :T I found once I'd tried this and like DWUL found it did somehow lower my spending levels I got kind of addicted! I was the original mindlessly chuck things in the trolley, habit shopper and impulse purchaser and this challenge has made a hu-u-u-u-uge difference to me.

I'm still plugging away at my target. I had to pay the milkman £71 today for the last four weeks milk & bread plus some meat. (but that's better than spending £12 twice a week cos inevitably some other stuff gets added!

Funny story: We had planned to go to Lidl or Aldi last night when Hubby came home with the car but I spoke to him during the day and he sounded tired and a bit fed up so I nipped into Iceland instead so he could just chill when he got home as he has a long drive home, (about 60 miles.)

The funny part is that he thought that *I* sounded knackered so he nipped to Iceland at lunchtime as well to save me the trip!

    And the kicker?

We bought exactly the same stuff - even down to the unscheduled mince pies (cos 18 for £2 is a great price for the first mince pies of the year!)

What are we like huh? :o  :D
