Declaring NSD number 13 today - it's getting so close I can almost smell the success ;)
  • NSD for me today... forgot take food to work, but also forgot to take my card (left it in the car! ) so now will have to pay for todays food tomorrow

  • I have managed to get three NSDs under my belt but it has been difficult to control when things must be paid for at times. If I'd had the chutzpah to make an eBay seller wait for a day or two, or the sense to have paid for weekly bus tickets I would have been able to have more.

However, it is a mere four days to payday and I am still in the black. :D I am sorry to say that hasn't happened for a good long while before I joined this challenge. The extra thinking required in attempting to rack up NSDs has reduced my overall spending somehow. I'm thrilled. :)

Now I have a few days left in which to try and score another one in order to reach the dizzy heights of my target of 4.
  • Yay! I had my 4th NSD today :j  so I've reached my target for November.

Little, I know by comparison to what some of you amazing people manage - but until this month I'd NEVER had a NSD - so I feel this is a real achievement!

I'm going to see if I can challenge myself to do another before the end of the month ...

Had another NSD wooohoooo, but I will need bread and crisps tomoz:D :D

Candygirl - have you ever tried making vegetable crisps? They taste amazing! Slice off some Parsnip or whatever (just using a regular veg peeler), put it into a pot of hot oil (it must be hot before you put it in or it'll just soak up the oil) - leave them 'til they stop "moving" - bring them out, blot excess oil and sprinkle with salt while they're still hot (if you leave it 'til they're cold, the salt will sit on them rather than being absorbed).

Not very healthy mind - but very moreish!! And also a little bit MSE provided you already have the veg in the fridge! ;)

    xx

At least you didn't have to go hungry - if I did that I'd just starve!! ;)

Well done on hitting target!

Thanks Miggy! :D I borrowed a sash from my sis though! So my NSD has been saved!! whoo hoo!! Upto no. 14!!

    That's good!
You did better than I did - I went out to buy pizza for tea and came back with a bag full of stuff  However I did remember the pizza, and some salad & stuff to go with it and we ended up with a really tasty tea that didn't cost nearly as much as I'd have thought - about £5 for 4 of us and lots of bits left over for tomorrow so not too bad - but not a NSD.
I am having another go at a NSD tomorrow but will be rather near the shops for safety.

  • I'm getting in early and declaring today as NSD 15/16 - I'm getting so close I can almost taste the virtual choccie!! ;)

Not sure when no 16's gonna fall though - it might even be Sunday - which is just a little tad close to the bone....
