Can't you be inventive with a print-out of tartan?! If you covered an existing belt with tartan paper, courtesy of your computer and printer, granted it might not last long but it might be okay for an evening.
As you say, shame to spoil a NSD for the sake of something you'd never use again.
I don't know if this would do the trick? If not, try googling 'tartan ribbon' and look under 'images'.Miggy

Thanks very much for the suggestion though! You're obviously more imaginative than me - and a much better MSE-er!!

I haven't seen it yet Dragon but Lilmissmup is doing it so I'm sure she'll get it up and running in time. I did it a bit early this month in case I had any problems and needed to send Lilmissmup desperate PMs!
Well done to the finishers! :T :j  :j :T I'll add your choccy in a minute.
I've had to do a packed lunch supplies top up in Iceland including a huge box of 18 mince pies for £2! I hope they're nice. (I'm about to try one in a sec with my cuppa.)
I'm on number 19 NSD on day 25 - so 3 to go and 5 days left to do it in. I think this is the best position I've ever been in at this stage of the month and I think it's all because of my milk / bread/ etc delivery which comes about 12 days a month but only needs paying for once (Tomorrow!)

I was about to declare NSD 15/15 before remembering that I succumbed to a Monsoon dress on ebay this morning... oops... at least it was a bargain at £8.20
Should manage another NSD before the end of the month, though!Live on £4000 a Year Challenge member
