Recommend a friend loophole?
Options
My girlfirend and I are both on Orange contracts through OSPS, both of which end in January.
We will probably get o2 contracts with them when our current contracts finish, so would it be possible to fill in the recommend a friend form for each other (I fill in one recommending her and vice versa) a few days before our contracts end?
It says that the person filling in the form must be a current OSPS customer with a current contract handset, but doesn't say anything about the 'friend' being a current customer.
Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated.

Hi I did recommended one of my friend last year and I havent still got anything for it. Whenever I call OSPS they say they dont have vouchers for it. So in short it is not worth recomending anyone

You're both better off buying the contract via https://www.quidco.com (£20 cashback)0

nitinpatil - Thanks for the info. Do you know if mobileshop are good at paying up, as they have a similar referral offer?
Umer - Yeah, I was going to do that as well as claiming the recommend a friend, provided I coud sign up to both online. Not sure if they'd let me come to think of it, as OSPS say that they'll contact my 'friend' directly.
Do you know if I can buy both contracts on a single Quidco account? Assuming I clear cookies between the transactions.
Thanks,

The Recommend a Friend is on the phone only (as far as I know), so you can't use that AND quidco.
The Recommened a friend is far too much hassle, and you'll be lucky to get it paid at all. The only company I know of that pays out without many problems are the Orange shops.0 -
The payments from Quidco etc may be affected - I have an affiliate link for OSPS for my website and I have been notified that the OSPS affiliate network is suspended at the moment. As that, no doubt, is the basis of the cashback sites I doubt that anyone will be paying out until OSPS's status is changed again.
Kind regards
