Polka - Meant to say before Well done!!! :T:TDustykitten wrote: »Secondary teachers or parents what do you pupils/children do with the countless printouts they get given from school - stick in books, file in folders, leave screwed up in the bottom of their bags?
I was a swot so I used to have an A4 folder with plastic wallets in. Almost all papers either got folded in half and put inside the exercise book, or got put in one of the plastic wallets, at the very least they got put inside the folder:rotfl::rotfl: Now they just get thrown in the bag...which reminds me I need to go and find DDs reading bag

Yup I am in - definitely going to give it a go this week. I've spent the afternoon trawling Oxford Street taking back clothes from a blow out a few weeks ago I could ill afford, my conscience assuaged I did plenty of food shopping for all my Stage two weaning baby purees. Will be making stock and purees all tomorrow morning!
This evening I roasted a chicken with sage, milk, cinnamon, garlic and lemon (thankyou Jamie Oliver!) it was lush and we are having handmade hot chocolate pudding - I'm trying to recreate the gu puddings I love but cannot afford. I'll be honest I got a recipe and I have done a bloomin' good job! Moneysaving the yum way....! Looking forward to popping in over the week x0 -
OH just told me they are better than gu puds!! OMG!0

I love the photo!!!Valli you are exactly as I imagined you. Found the quote:
"I sometimes think we expect too much of Christmas Day. We try to crowd into it the long arrears of kindliness and humanity of the whole year. As for me, I like to take my Christmas a little at a time, all through the year. And thus I drift along into the holidays - let them overtake me unexpectedly - waking up some fine morning and suddenly saying to myself: "Why, this is Christmas Day!" ~David Grayson"0 -
