Blinking eckers like, you lot can talk for england, sunday night and 5 pages in already.

Right well firstly well done on the meet up, sounds great, glad you enjoyed yourselves.

I'm on tholiday from thwerk I am this week so a whole week off :j, which of course means getting some stuff done, those backlog jobs like getting a car fixed, getting a car sold, getting a fire fitted, finding the money to do that, taking up a whole rooms worth of laminate flooring to get to fire, knocking a hole into the wall.................already I am truly overwhelmed.

In my fantasy land I would also like to decorate a room because that whole peeling wallpaper thing is sooooo 1970's slum and I'm getting bored of it frankly.............oh and the woodchip..........and the staggered holey floorboards, the lack of carpet, etc, etc.:o

However for the above I need energy and inclination, both of which are in short supply at Triker towers at the mo.

We'll have to see how we get on eh!

Right best look at the lists and see where I'll be needing to start.

Catch you in a bit. xx:D

Don't think I'll be in much this week. Have a full week at work ahead of me.

I am in the middle of a baking frenzy, though, so some of the kitchen will get done eventually. Have so far made Jam Biccies; Coconut loaf x 2; carrot, zucchini & pineapple cake; and citrus slice to go. Have done no cleaning since goodness knows when, so I need to be doing something to make up for it LOL.

Today is a public holiday over here, so I'm making the most of it. Will be out working with OH this afternoon, as I was yesterday. He was sick last week, plus it was raining, so he got right behind with his mowing. He has a couple of schools to do this afternoon, so I can help him with those.

Great pic!!! Thank you for sharing it. I'm so jealous :o

no I'm here.. just sorting the christmas list.. replied to a few that needed replying to.. erm... switched my utility provider over.. AGAIN.. 3rd time this year but we are capped currently until Jan 2009.. and now it is January 2012 which is ok I guess.. erm.... I also took out the BG homecare thing £9 a month.. £45 cashback (5 months payment!) and a free service.. :D.. it would have cost me £130 for just a service so I have saved a stack of money there so it is worthwhile.. I may well cancel it come the spring when we switch the heating off and take it out again next year for my free service.. I am that sneaky!!

Cat poop shovelled out of the tray
    rabbits watered
filled a carrier with rubbish before flinging cat poop on top so I am a bag of rubbish down too.

Bed time methinks I am really tired for some reason today.. probably because I had to think about the assignment I scribbled a bit on today.. I am hoping to have it almost finished by the end of this week.. so the children will be watching a lot of films!! lol

  • I'm here toochoosey

I'm about to call it a night though. Been a bit of a busy one.

I spent the morning making baby purees and then had a bath/washed my hair ready for the meet. Then, had a lovely time socialising with my fellow flyladies, and wondered yet again how 'strangers' are often easier to talk to and nicer than some of the real people i know everyday IYSWIM. The kids got on great. Charlie's little legs went ten to the dozen to keep up with the other kids as they were all older, but they were helping him around the play area. Miss A was like a little mother hen. :D

We then stopped at the pub on the way home for dinner, and Charlie was so starved he ate 3 chipolata sausages in the time it took me and DH to put DS2 in the highchair,

then we popped to my parents for a couple of hours, before returning home and chilling. You'll all laugh at this, i told them all where i had been, and my sister said 'oh - is that your flytrap ladies?' Made me and DH chuckle anyway.

juliejim i have sent you a PM

i think both my boys will sleep well tonight anyway. Sam had a roaring time chewing my shoulder - i can just see the wet patch on my top. Then he tried chewing a chip from my plate at the pub, and he really enjoyed that until it went so soggy he couldn't find his mouth with it.

I'm in for the week anyway, not feeling that energetic, but i want to keep on top of the house as it is a bit nicer at the moment, as DH's 80 year old great aunt is staying at a nearby hotel over the weekend, so we are having them round for lunch, so want to make a good impression on her and her friend. They will no doubt be happy to sit on the sofa, eat lots of cake and natter, but i need to make sure there are no toys to fall over etc. As one of the ladies was a bit doddery on her feet when we saw them in the summer.

Right, bed time here, so we will see you tomorrow x

  • Hi,

Hope everyone is well and welcome newbies.

I'm glad those who attended the meet had a good time. I live in the north west so it was to far for me to travel. I must add my details to the yahoo database.

Today I did a big grocery shop, spent time with my family, did laundry and prepared for tomorrow so don't have to rush round like a headless chicken first thing in the morning! Hubby is fine but I've still got a cold  and we've both got to go to the dentist tomorrow and I'm nervous (hubby's not!). But he did say he'd hold my hand when I get my filling done  Goodnight
  • You sound chirpier michelle - the meet seems to have been good for you - as you say 'strangers' are sometimes so much easier to get on with - it was nice of your OH to go witth you. maybe the boys will be so worn out that they will sleep well and so will you - fingers crossed.
    take care
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

I love the photo!!!Valli you are exactly as I imagined you. Found the quote:

As for me, I like to take my Christmas a little at a time, all through the year. Yup! It's the L-O-N-G legs :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: d'you like the frock?
All their kids were lovely and played beautifully together...my DD at 12 felt 'old' so didn't go in to the 'play' area...having said that it was a most appropriate place for a meet and a chat and I would never have thought of somewhere like that...but the kids could play in safety, we could have a tea/coffee - perfect...great thinking there AnW'sMum
So you ALL imagined me as a leggy blonde then:rotfl:
I am STUCK on a crossword clue -botanical so that WILL be a problem...
