Ok evening, food eaten, so much nicer not having to cook, DPs mood not improved, pleased he's going home tomorrow.

Tomorrow is start packing day, did a few small bags today, tomorrow will be clearing everything I don't need apart from a few things to keep kids busy, well I suppose they're needed.

Time for some bottles of blue vodka stuff me thinks.
One day I might be more organised...........

As ever my HHC ran on, was determined to get the kitchen and bathroom done (study left as DH working in there). There's a lot of his stuying stuff around but apart from that its ok in there, and will be properly cleared after his exams.

I am happy with what i achieved:
kitchen - put dried pots away, washed up, sorted today's post, wiped worktops & cupboard doors, wiped fridge, freezer, WM & kettle
bathroom - cleaned loo, bath, tiles, glass shelf, sink.

....and most importantly spoke to my mum and made a cup of tea!

Found the bit to the ready bed so repumped up and sorted out.

Ferried the kids up to bed about 10 times!

    Tidied some of the LR

Friend came over and collected clothes

    Spoke to DH

Not done as much as I would have liked but I can see the kids still being awake at midnight!

just realised the LR must be on Friday so that will have to be done tomorrow as well, will have to make up a list for that, shouldn't be too bad as hooverig and dusting done most days as dailies, but will try to get it to a level 3, as the dog/house sitter is my mother and very critical of tidiness and cleanliness!!

A bath sounds like a plan, Julie, think I might do the same! I often don't bother as it feels like a hassle but DH is finishing at studying at 9.30 and we're going to watch a few more episodes of Bleak House with a glass of wine, so a bath will set me up well :)
