greenbee - havent see you posting last night or tonight - have they swamped you with work ...again?? hope you're ok - I'm being good while you're not here to keep an eye on me!!!!
AnW's mum and Valli are doing a pretty good job checking up on me so you can stop worrying!!!!
    toots xx

Good to know someone's keeping an eye on you Toots! I'm working hard... I kept two of my team up until 10.30, I now need to work on the data they've given me, and then they'll start early tomorrow (one leaves Leeds at 5.30, the other will be in Windsor not long after, and I'll have to get in early too). Lots of changes going on at the moment.

Motivation is lacking :o Anyone fancy writing a 700ish word essay for me on "The financial challenges individuals and household face can be affected by wider changes in society and the economy. Outline economic and social changes over the last thirty years that have affected the issues to be taken into account in financial planning for retirement. ":rolleyes:

Nicki - I'll happily do that if you can sort out my stats for me :D Don't forget Mr Brown removing tax relief from pension funds, ageing population so increased need for private pension provision (fewer tax payers to contribute to state pension), changes around pension rules for divorce, and NI contributions for bringing up kids, plus (obviously) volatility in equity markets, change in rules on annunities, lowering of age of retirement for gender equality purposes...

    ... does that help?

Oh yes... and Peak Oil! increased energy costs with no prospect of them decreasing in the next 10-20 years due to the need to develop alternative technologies...

Seconded!!! I got two new furry hwbs from boots at the weekend, and they're lovely. I just wish I was in bed with them instead of sorting out this mess and dealing with Excel crashing!
