OK - need to get a coffee and read all these posts, but am feeling quite pleased with myself as I have got a fair bit done this morning
Monday Marvels- Kitchen and Dining Room
[strike]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces[/strike]
Sweep and mop floors - When I get back from town
Clean the fridge.. remember to do the drain at the back - as above
[strike]Wipe dining table [/strike] (Had to clear table of STUFF from kitchen, so it got polished by default LOL!)
[strike]Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round [/strike]
[strike]Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster[/strike] (Actually did the toaster & kettle yesterday when I moved them out of the breakfast area (AKA Utility which is being "remodelled" to install new boiler)
Clean cupboard door fronts - Will do a quick job on these, as they will be removed for repainting later this week.
Clean fronts of appliances
[strike]Clean out your mankiest kitchen cupboard[/strike] - Did this first thing by accident - no, really, I was looking for some paracetamol (got toothache). Now I have a tidy larder cupboard and a lot of out-of-date patent medicines are boogied out!!!
Extra Missions
1. Going into town to hunt for another thick curtain (charity shop hopefully) as the one I had in mind for the front door is not quite long enough. The portiere arrived on Friday - looks really nice (or at least it will when I've got the curtain!)
2. While in town, take books back to Library so I don't get mega-fined!
3. When I get back, try to tidy away/find temporary homes for "displaced kitchen objects".
4. Make appointment at dentist _pale_ - just hope the problem with the tooth isn't an expensive one.
5. I've swapped the hall table into the sitting room with a table that is a bit smaller (otherwise there is no way that the front door curtain will pull back out of the way when the door opens). The former hall table just fits.
Right - coffee then town!
Obedient women are never remembered in History!

MACAW... EAT BETTER, no snacks, no junk0 -
summermoon - save all of today's cigarette butts, put them in a jar with a screw lid and put in some water - whenever your willpower is waivering a bit take a BIG sniff.
For first thing in the morning try to set up a new morning routine, whether it be change what you drink/eat/do first thing. Plus change all of the bedclothes and thoroughly clean your bedroom tonight so that nothing smells of smoke first thing.
Also remember that most cravings will pass after about 10 mins so try to distract yourself for that amount of time. I used to smoke 40-80 a day and packed in 1/1/2000 and have never regretted it - hang on in there as it takes some time to do a mind shift.
Good luck - you know you can do it!I'd rather be watching CSI!0 -

Normally i get up in the morning, come into the living room and make a roll up, before i even make kids breakfast. Think i'll start with making breakfast, then do a load of washing and tidy kitchen..... should keep me busy till early morning craving wears off!An' It Harm None, Do As Thou Will
