Morning All.
glad that the meet went well.
Had a fantastic time at Nemo on Ice yesterday. The VIP suite was lovely. DD and DS had a great time too danced the whole way through. We managed to get an extra ticket so my niece came as well and loved it too.
My DD kept shouting hello mickey for about 5 minutes. I think she may have been a little excited. Wonder what she will be like when we go to Florida.
Anyway must go as taking DS to the dentist and he is looking forward to it .
See you all soon.January Grocery 11/3740 -
Morning everyone! Hello Toots and Froddington
Thanks for all of the welcomes back. I didn't bother posting it last night cos it was late, and people were in bed (where I should've been), but I've decided to leave my new job after only a week! It's a long story, but basically, I was messed about in terms of my contract cos the agency wanted to charge the school a fee for finding me and they couldn't afford it, combined with a lack of behaviour policy and support for me (no TA, severe lack of resources eg. 6 pairs of scissors for 30 children and a wipeboard that would be small enough to fit on my bathroom wall) and two children who really shoud've been excluded for their behaviour, it was just too much for me to cope with as an NQT. I haven't told the school yet, but I'm sure the head won't be too sad to see me go, as she talked to me on Friday night as she thought I wasn't coping, and asked me to make a decision as to whether I still wanted the job. The agency are aware that I had a tough time there and are behind me 100% so will call them today with my final decision. I just hope I can find another job to do my NQT year in. A part-time job in a very local (10 mins drive) and very good school has come up in a year 3 class, so I'll apply to that when half-term is over. It's for a year, so will get my last term done but over 2 terms as I'll be part-time if I get the job, and it'll suit me fine being part-time.
Anyway, enough about me, now I'm back, does anyone fancy a HHC 10.15-10.45? I'm determined to get the flat back into shape, and may even start to box up some of the less frequently used kitchen items ready for our move.
Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine.

Good morning all!!
Sorry about not being on in a while.....my course is really hard and the assignments are pouring in:(
DS1 went to France with his school last week and had a ball....but low and behold he is back at home now and back to being a stroppy teenager, I spent the guts of £1000 sending him on that trip, you would think he would be a tad grateful!!!
DD is still waiting on her appointment to see a consultant in the hospital about her eczema!!
DS2 is panicing about his 11+ exam in a fortnight!!
And DS3 is attending the school of dentistry in the royal victoria hospital as he is a dental anomoly (if thats spelt right!) some of his teeth have no roots and they are trying to figure out how his teeth are staying in....they are only his baby teeth and they reckon its a developmental issue!!! so we are attending there every fortnight!!!
Oh the house is a tip:(.....im looking for inspiration!!! HELP!!!:jIm going to be frugal:j:DIm going to be frugal:D;)Im going to be frugal;)Beetlejuice Beetlejuice...................:rotfl:0 -
