    Got to add this...

does anyone else feel there is a 'stigma' attatched to having a dining table in yoru livingroom (if its small)? I felt it was very Pauline from Eastenders!

But I have changed my mind.

maybe we could start a trend, dining tables in the small livingroom are cool?! (honestly) LOL! :rotfl:

I just saw the "if its small" bit there, because I have a big 6/8 seater dining table in my fairly big lounge/diner & I never thought their was any "stigma" attached to it.

There would be room for a little table & chairs in the kitchen (as per the previous people) IF we hadn't filled it with a new kitchen.

I would like a kitchen/diner as well (may do an extension), but I'm not a fan of small tables, I like big tables that seat 6/8, so if I do get my kitchen/diner, it will be big:D

Pauline Fowlers was only naff because it was plonked in the middle of the living room rather than in a "dining area".

We eat anytime between 7 & 7.30 ish.

If I ate my dinner at 5 or 5.30 I would be hungry again before bedtime.

OH is the biggest problem in our house, he won't eat any veg except brocolli, definitely won't touch onions, if I make a soup he won't have it unless I liquidise it (which I never have, his mum always did).

My DS 14 will eat pretty much anything but DS 7 hardly anything.

We do sit at the table although not always at the same time!
If you're going to stalk me, while you're at it can you cut the grass, feed the dog & make sure I've got bread & milk in :D

Most of the time I just cook for my DDs during the week as I get a free meal at work and DH gets home late usually and has a separate meal. We do eat together at weekends, and I try to do something we all like with several veg, as we all like different ones (and DH hardly any!!). My DDs have totally different tastes in food, and I try to accommodate these without making too much work for myself!
