Yes, but can you help me interpret their cashback T&C's please (waiting for co to come back to me)?
My query:
"I am having difficulty comprehending your T&C's for cashback., hence my reason for writing to you. Please can you help me to understand how the following applies to my specific case, especially the 180 days term:-
Quote from T&C's:
"On 12 month contracts, cashbacks valued over £50 will be paid in 3 instalments, one third of the cashback at month 6, one third at month 9 and the final third on month 12.....
N.B. For clarification the 6th month’s invoice is classed as the first invoice you receive on or after you have had the phone for a period of 180 days from the date of connection. The invoices for month’s 9, 12, 15 and 18 are therefore those you receive 3, 6, 9 & 12 months subsequently."
My query:-
I signed up with o2 via P2U on 2/12/2005. First invoice received this week (8/12/05) dated 3/12/2005
180 days from sign up/connection is 31/5/2006.
I expect to receive the following invoices over the course of the contract:
1 03/12/2005
2 03/01/2006
3 03/02/2006
4 03/03/2006
5 03/04/2006
6 03/05/2006
7 03/06/2006
8 03/07/2006
9 03/08/2006
10 03/09/2006
11 03/10/2006
12 03/11/2006
My question is which invoice do I send first (the 6th one which would fall before 31/5/06 - 180 days or the 7th one?). Additionally, if it is the 7th one does this mean I'd have to keep the contract for up to 13 month (i.e. 7 + 3 +3). As you are aware I have only signed up to a 12 month contract and do not necessarily want to extend it to 13 months; more importantly I need to be CLEAR as to when I need to claim, as if I miss the first claim the subsequent claims are invalid per your T&C's."0 -
the way i work it out, you would send in your 7th and 10th invoices and then cancel on 3/11/06 giving 30 days notice. You would then recieve a 13th invoice on 3/12/06 (ie-1 year exactly) which would be sent off to claim cashback.
At least that's what I think anyway0 -
