Not sure what the difference is between the AB and the L models, but if you order the L model from Tesco:
    http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.204-6391.aspx
there is a £9 off code available and you will also automatically get a £10 e-voucher for spending over £100 (available til 31/10 I think). This brings it down to £160 if you include the voucher. Don't know about delivery on this item - but if there is a charge for delivery you can add a sim card which gives free delivery on your whole order and then take the sim card back to the shop for a refund.
Ps quidco also available from TescoDirect

You can have them delivered for free to your local tesco's store. I ordered one on friday, due to pick it up tuesday.

Must be cheap at that price.

I notie it has Linpus Linux lite version. It would be nice if it had full version Ubuntu or similar. Had a little play with one in PC World today and was tempted. A useful bit of kit especially for travelling. I'll wait till they come down a bit more...! My guess is that manufacturers have misjudged this niche market as lots of them are making netbooks, some with windows (bad move) and i dont really think they will sell in the big numbers they expect.

At the risk of sounding really stupid - if it is used mainly for internet/email - am I right in assuming that once you have loaded your browser the screen with Linux looks exactly the same as it would with Windows? Thanks.
ps sorry if this is off-topic

    I've been Money Tipped!
Our basic secondhand laptop has died and we can't afford a new laptop.

I just want something to surf mainly this and other moneysaving forums, when my dh is on the pc, would this netbook be ok?

We have wifi broadband, would I have to connect a dongle to this or will it just bring up the wifi on the system automatically?

I have a theory about this...

With Sterling falling in value compared to the dollar it's going to be more expensive for companies to buy these laptops wholesale. I can't imagine you're going to find any reductions this side of Christmas. Prices might even go up.
