I'm not surprised you're ranting, well deserved, if you ask me! Why do people assume it's not a problem to just drop out. I think they should still pay for the tickets, as they had asked you to get them in the first place! Let them make the "quick buck", if there is such a thing, on ebay:mad:

Still, I really hope you enjoy seeing Oasis, you've waited a year, you enjoy every minute. When are you going?

Off to see them at Murrayfield - plenty of tickets still available despite the press saying it's a sell-out. It's on my bus route too, so a cheap day out come June!

Same friend as done this numerous times to me - T in the Park weekend tickets for £100 or so, Hogmanay party in Edinburgh (letting me know at 10 pm on Hogmanay she'd changed her mind  ).

Anyhow, I guarantee that as the show gets closer, I get the, "Do you still have those tickets?" questions from them and I'll be saying, "No, but I'm sooooo looking forward to going on my own" :p

I guess it boils down to some people have a conscience and others just don't. Thankfully I know that when I've been in that situation, I've paid and not gone so that others don't lose out because of me.

Im one of life's good gals! :D
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

  • Hi everyone! :hello:

Well yesterday wasn't quite the NSD I had hoped for - ended up going out to our local with friends that were over. Spent £20 which I'm annoyed about but had a lovely time so trying not to beat myself up about it too much. Will have to re-jig budget but shouldn't be too difficult as can cut back in some areas.

    Today I will
    • Oneline banking
    • Re-jig monthly budget
    • V pleased as got xmas present for OH on ebay for £20, about £30 cheaper than if I had got in a normal shop!

    • Update xmas lists
    • Phone nana using free minutes
    • Phone grandad using free minutes
    • Storecuboard tea
    • LSD as just need to nip to shop for couple of bits
    • Relax and enjoy relaxing!
