Local Fruit and Veg. 4 Roasting Spuds £0.75. Local Butcher Cheese (Real and smelly) £2.39, or depending on how much I like. Two rashers of smoked back, £0.80.
Wash and Scrub the Spuds and place in oven at 190C for twenty five minutes (Micorwaves do not crust the skins and should only be used by people who cannot cook). Grate the cheese and chop the bacon. Place a little lard in the frying pan and fry the bacon.
Take spuds from oven, slice the top, and pour in grated cheese and bacon. Place spuds under medium grill til cheese has melted. Add pepper to taste.
Enjoy. All for lees than £4 and no spotty moldoon at the local cheap food establishment can do that!
Oh and there was no need to do a pizza and that is money saving for you!
Thank you for the cookery lesson, but as it was a Saturday night takeaway treat the general consensus is that I DON'T want to cook

Silly question, but that looks like raisins on the foil?
It was like burnt stuff, I imagine they might have been cooked on that foil
Ahhhh well we learnt a lesson and we've popped a email of complaint along with a the picture.

Why does everyone use the pregancy card? when infact the birth rate is decreasing
You got what you paid for, did you expect them to use jacket potatoes? or MASSIVE potatoes? you got what you paid for, you expected alot more and you never got it

Mmmm. Glad I popped in. We're going to have this now for lunch. (We went out yesterday and ate out, so need the frugal option today):heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
I think the question can mostly be answered by comparing what you got with the picture on their website. How do the two differ?0

Eh? What rattled your cage? the pregnancy comment was a tongue in cheek sentence, obviously completely went off your radar though
Had you read my op you would see that they are advertised as 'loaded' potato skins, where they come nowhere near to 'loaded' infact if we were to get a spectrum of 'loaded' and 'empty' I am taking a guess at the arrow for 'dominos loaded potato skins' would be nearer the empty end :rotfl:Married mum to 4, new addition expected 02/07/140 -

One must apologise for not paying over the odds for muppet food. No I will not, this site bis about money saving and spending over the odds for muppet food is something I do not do. Nor do I decide on a Saturday night after a bottle of beer, to ring the local pizza place for over the odds savoury spuds. Nor do I have to over indulge in such rubbish food.0 -
OK - this is a money saving site but some people scrimp all week to have a takeaway meal. Mind you, that one was a rip off." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."
