Virgin Media offer - free digital tv!

They called me today with an offer of free tv for the next 12 months. I agreed to it but can't help but think there has to be a catch to this somewhere. I already have the broadband and phone.

Has anyone else had this offer and how did it go?

They have tried to sell me tv before and I kept refusing, I even had an offer for it at just £1 extra to my bill and I still refused it but this offer is a bit too good to be true.

The only thing they are charging me is £10 for the P&P to send me the equipment which they said I could set up myself.

The only catch is you will be tied to VM for the next 12 months

They give the Basic digital tv service away to anyone who is paying the full price line rental in any case.

They obviously hope that by getting it into more peoples homes they might be tempted to upgrade to the premium channels and/or order films etc.
