I must have phoned up every day since for updates and this mornings call ended up with 'No news of when or how many next stock is' best to call back in 2 days.

The premiums are harder to get hold of, it seems with Argos every person you speak to has a different story, however, in saying that the last two I have spoke to have confirmed further stock on route but again not being told the delivery date, management decision!? Hope your orders pull through.

Argos get them in batches of 800. Gamestation & Game get them in batches of 2,500 or 5,000. The manufacturers will not want to be seen to be screwing over the specialists.

Thats quite a difference in stock levels! Didnt realise they got so many.....

I posted them http://www.xbox360locator.co.uk/ is by far the best apart from this site of course for xbox availability info, I check it regularly as it has posts in each shop from members of the public on the latest news

I worked for GAME last Christmas.

GAME is the largest retailer, and a such are able to get more of a supply. Playstation Slim Lines were the must have last Christmas, and we constantly had them coming through. Even if it was 4/8 at a time. We even had a big batch delivered to the store Xmas Eve.

Argos - usually out of stock. They have special deals on items which they advertise heavily to encourage people into the store, but availability is v.poor. Then people would come to GAME looking for us to price match the offer, which of course we wouldnt do unless they had the item in stock.

Keep going into GAME/GAMEstation. Keep asking. Deliveries are early morning, between 9-11 usually in GAME. Hang around if there is a delivery coming in, they know what they are going to get the night before usually. And if you get one, gis a thankyou! lol.

Edit: With Playstation 2's, Woolworths and Toysrus usually seems to get the odd one here and there - and this seems to be echoed on the xbox360locator website. Worth checking out if your in town. Woolies wont make a big fuss, there will just be a couple behind the desk.
