i know this is no good now to those still looking
but did anyone order a 360 from dixons monday night
if so did you take a screen dump or the offer as the xbox turned up yetserday but no games 2nd controller came with it
called dixons and they have no idea what comes with the 360 other than the console themselves.
any further info on this would be grateful0 -
Hi - I'm in the same boat re dixons deal. Just got off the phone to them and they were very helpful. It's also worth pointing out that the total list price of all of the items is LESS than the £499.99 charged! If you try this link it may get you to the page you need http://www.dixons.co.uk/martprd/store/dix_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@0993928091.1134512082@@@@&BV_EngineID=cccladdghelgjdjcflgceggdhhmdgml.0&sku=785201&page=Product0

Not strictly true as the suppliers of the consoles will want to keep the games publishers on side to ensure that the next must-have game is on their console. To do this they need to keep the games specialists happy as they are the ones who will be doing all the promotion for ALL of the new games, not just the big sellers that ASDA & tesco will stock.if i had known then what i know now0 -
Argos will be the more likely to stock, while my local Tescos only had 4 for sale & Asda a whole 2, it was Argos that took a nice proportion of 800 in stock last week! My bets lay with Argos to next stock a decent amount of these.
Update:- Just spoken to customer service again, the lady said they are on the system for delivery any time now, could still take up to a couple of days though. They are not being told the actual date/time of arrival which makes their job more difficult as they are receiving call after call enquiring about these (she said shes sick of the word xbox). Again its a case of keep checking back but they are expecting arrival this week, just not being told what day.0 -
I've got a Premium Xbox 360 order outstanding with Argos since last Thursday. I managed to purchase 2 (1 for neighbour), which at the time appeared in stock and my credit card was charged.
They only delivered one and after phoning to chase up the other, they said that only one would have been released as there is a limit of one per customer. My other box is at status 'on order'.
I must have phoned up every day since for updates and this mornings call ended up with 'No news of when or how many next stock is' best to call back in 2 days.0
