wonder if anyone can help, i have a notice isa that i need to give 60 days notice to withdraw from.
I am looking to transfer to the natwest 7.32% isa, on the app form there is space to enter the day of transfer, can i jus put a date 60 days in the future or should i personally notify my old provider and give them 60 days notice to transfer the isa.

I tend to put something like 'after the required notice period' rather than a specific date and send a copy of the transfer form to the old provider for information.0

bit risky, if they don't read it or choose to ignore it?0

Since it is your instruction to them, the risk would be on their side if they failed to act on it, in the case of a referral to the Financial Ombudsman Service.shazkhan111 wrote: »bit risky, if they don't read it or choose to ignore it?0 -

What part of "I tend to put something like 'after the required notice period' rather than a specific date and send a copy of the transfer form to the old provider for information" don't you understand?shazkhan111 wrote: »is it worth all that, am i better off doing it at both ends?0 -
Is this in repsect of a Nationwide Members ISA bond by any chance? Because their '60 days notice' does not apply on transfers (only withdrawals). I have direct experience confirming this on my own ISA transfer to (NW to First Direct) AND lately my mum's too (NW to NW internally)shazkhan111 wrote: »wonder if anyone can help, i have a notice isa that i need to give 60 days notice to withdraw from.

Thanks Milarky, that makes sense as you are closing the account.
How long did it take to transfer over?0 -
Hi, I have an Abbey Postal ISA and am not sure if it has a good rate, I was wondering if people recommend I leave things how they are or transfer it to another provider?
Thanks.something missing0 -
You really need to establish which 'flavour' of Abbey postal ISA you have, as there are a couple, although neither have brilliant rates, appearing to offer a maximum of 5% on funds in excess of £27,000 - see http://www.abbey.com/csgs/Satellite?cid=1110965066360&pagename=Abbey%2FGSAgrupAsset%2FGS_ProductosRetiradosI have an Abbey Postal ISA and am not sure if it has a good rate, I was wondering if people recommend I leave things how they are or transfer it to another provider?
There are many Cash ISAs currently offering better rates.0
