RBS and having wages paid by BAC's

If everyone leaves their bank when they have a particularly bad experience then the banks who provide the best customer experience should gain additional customers. Provided they inform their bank why they are leaving, and someone at the bank actually cares enough to monitor why customers leave, it might just make a difference.

By this token, Abbey should have a total of four customers. Doesn't work that way, sadly; two different people can have two vastly different experiences of the same organisation, so "customer experience" is at best subjective.
  • i work for asda and bank with lloyds and my pay shows up midnight thursday however wen i banked with halifax it didnt show till the friday morning about 6oclock

Hi I hope some one can answer this thread, Until recently we only had my wifes wages paid by BAC's into our RBS current account, the advice slip from always stated that the money was paid every 4 weeks (on a friday).
We could never draw money out on a friday and the money would show up on the next Monday (3 days later) The RBS said that it wasn't them.
Now I have my ASDA wages paid by BAC's (again every 4 weeks on a friday) into the same account, now for 6 years my money use to show up in my L-TSB account midnight Thursday. Checked with RBS today (payday) and the money wasn't there ? check with ASDA and they confirmed my wages were sent to the account.
RBS say its not them I think it is, not really a problem but would like to know if there are any others having this happen to them:confused:

Hi I wasn't saying it was the bank, ......

Err, yes you were. That's precisely what you were saying.

In your first post you said "RBS say its not them I think it is"

And in your second post you said "RBS have lost my wages"

Perhaps you owe RBS an apology now?

FWIW when I worked for ASDA, they banked with the NatWest.

As post #11 ..... if they (still) pay by BACS Direct Credit ...... it doesn't matter who they bank with.
If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !

Which is why I began the post with "For what it's worth" - i.e. it was for information only, and a point aside from the main debate ;)
