RBS and having wages paid by BAC's

Hi I hope some one can answer this thread, Until recently we only had my wifes wages paid by BAC's into our RBS current account, the advice slip from always stated that the money was paid every 4 weeks (on a friday).
We could never draw money out on a friday and the money would show up on the next Monday (3 days later) The RBS said that it wasn't them.
Now I have my ASDA wages paid by BAC's (again every 4 weeks on a friday) into the same account, now for 6 years my money use to show up in my L-TSB account midnight Thursday. Checked with RBS today (payday) and the money wasn't there ? check with ASDA and they confirmed my wages were sent to the account.
RBS say its not them I think it is, not really a problem but would like to know if there are any others having this happen to them:confused:

RBS have lost my wages, most unhelpful customer services all they want to do is tell me I'm going to have lots of charges, lifes just one big circle of banks bleeding me dry, no matter how hard I try

I'm paid each Friday. Paying organisation is able to confirm the amount to me on Wednesday evening and it appears in my RBS account on Friday (online this is probably in the small hours). This seems like the 3-day BACS process I would expect and have had no problem in being paid by my current or earlier employer paying into the same account on the same basis.

Okay, so how do you know this is the fault of RBS?

Payments in are all electronically handled, so there's no real basis for claiming they "lost" your wages - nobody is going to have been manually involved in this process.

Have you contacted the company responsible for sending this money? Have you checked the details they were sent to?

Also, if you're having payments sent to a different bank, have you considered that BACS takes three days? You mention that previously, your wages showed up at Lloyds TSB just after midnight on Thursday. I assume you mean early Friday morning. To me, that suggests that Asda banks with Lloyds, and the transfer was internal. If they were now going to RBS, it could potentially take three days to get there (Friday, Monday, arriving Tuesday).

Don't you people ever get tired of saying this around here? Don't you realize that if you're all "voting with your feet", we just end up with constant traffic between the banks? For every person that leaves, another one joins.

 the problem with the bank turns out to be a office admin fault as although I gave the correct sort code and account number (the office checked my details I gave them) the wages department incorrectly enter a 3 instead of a 2 on the sort code, hence the problem, although it has caused charges ASDA have said that if I take in the statement showing charges they will re-emburse them, I have also spoken to the bank and they have put a note on my file, I will get a cheque later this week and the details are now correct,
:TThanks to all who have replied to this thread

If everyone leaves their bank when they have a particularly bad experience then the banks who provide the best customer experience should gain additional customers. Provided they inform their bank why they are leaving, and someone at the bank actually cares enough to monitor why customers leave, it might just make a difference.

It doesn't matter who Asda banks with - they pay wages, as most do, via BACS Direct Credit. So the credits are bulk processed directly from BACS, utilising electronic files provided by ASDA. So it's academic where the ASDA funds are held.
