have you tried start - run - type cmd - in the pop up box typr - ipconfig /flushdns

note the space between the g and the /

type exit

going to opendns worked I have opened a can of beer, throughout the afternoon I will open more 1 for each of you.!! Many many thanks. I had not a clue what Iwas doing but got there in the end. I suppose its all down to me playing and downloading IE8!! At 63 you think I would be wiser!! Just a senior moment.
Now I am getting [after restart] audio wizard asking which device did I plug in, none as far as I know. How does that disappear.
