Have a look here;

Play around with the dates and airports.
Once found don't forget about cashback sites and possible discount codes etc.

Last year me and my friends wanted winter sun holidays.
We went to Gambia - 4* hotel, half board, cost us £527 a person. But then you also have to buy Visa (I think £15) and malaria tablets (ours were £30-but that is one of the more expensive ones, were they guarantee nearly no side effects)0 -
The UK's a big place, where can you fly from? Between which dates in November can you travel?0

Nice idea but with a budget of only £500 between them this is a no goer.Last year me and my friends wanted winter sun holidays.

Would you go back to the Gambia? I went one year instead of my usual winter trip to Red Sea. I didn't know when I booked it was a malaria area but besides that, I don't think I would go back anyway.0 -

Yeah, but that was booked year in advance not in the last minute.
And 4* hotel.
I thought they might be able to get a last minute deal.0 -

We went just girls and found it a bit difficult with man following us around all the time. But noone else on our flight had the same experience - they were couples or families and I don't think would we have a bloke with us it would be nicer.
Appart from that, I liked it. Not that many places you can go in the middle of winter for that amount of money. It was hot, hotel was excellent and we did nothing else but sun tanned, drunk gin & tonics and read books. This year we are a bit richer (change of jobs for me and my best friend) and can afford more, so this year we are going to Goa.0 -
