as the timer controls for my worcester boiler are in a hard to reach airing cupboard, would it be ok to leave permanently switched on to 'constant' setting and to operate the on and off switch situated directly on the boiler, wondered if this would be using more energy and if if would do the boiler any harm to be switched directly on and off at the base, ( did hear this should only be used in emergency or in a fault but it was'nt a heating qualified person who told me that ! )
thank you
