This still isn't true no matter how many times you say it, it's simply how you think it should be. Putting a price on an item is merely an invitation to treat, people are free to pay as much as they want, and before an accusation is forthcoming, i've never sold a ticket to a gig. (Other than being the person that bought all the tickets and got money back when a group of friends were going)
I think you may be getting confused in that companies have been prosecuted for selling tickets above face value without admitting the face value. If you sell a ticket for £300 with a face value of £20 and are open about the face value price (as sellers on ebay tend to be) then you're not doing anything illegal. It's simply the concealing of the face value price that has led to prosecution (by trading standards) not the reselling for higher prices.Bought, not Brought0
