Wannado or Plusnet

Hi All, I've been debating which ISP to go with for BB for weeks and weeks now, and thought as I want to be connected for Christmas Hols I'm going to have to get a move on... Narrowed it down to these 2 as it's free set up. Has anyone any thoughts to share? I know 2 people who have had no trouble from Wannado. A colleague has been with them for 2 tears with no trouble, but I'm not keen on the year contract tie-in. Plus net cost if you migrate, but it least it can be done. I would only be surfing shopping emailing, so ,maybe PN would be best? also, did I hear somewhere that plusnet cut you off after 20 mins inactivity or was that a different isp? getting more confused, just want to get BB! Thanks for reading, John.

ive had no trouble with plusnet either, if you are planning on a lot of downloads then plusnet do a bit of restricting so not that great for heavy users, but otherwise they are fine, no cut offs here for in activity. im actually on there payg as sometimes i do download a few bits and its not restricted on payg with them so get the full speeds0

Plusnet are good for broadband speed and reliability. Support is 24/7 via web or 0845 number but quality of support staff varies. The Broadband Plus account has unlimited usage but, you are bound by an Acceptable Use Policy which basically means go easy on p2p and massive downloads. If Plusnet deem that you are making 'excessive' usage, your connection will be throttled down drastically. If you are a first time broadband user you will need a modem and connection which Plusnet will allow you to defer payment on. They call it 'free' but in reality, you pay an amount for it when you leave Plusnet. There is supposed to be a timeout after 30 mins with Plusnet but this doesn't really amount to much because your PC or router will just log back in again next time you access the internet - this is so fast you shouldn't notice it.
Check Plusnet T&Cs and AUP here

Wanadoo. Not used them but local radio station gets lots of complaints about them.
