I don't have any of the MBNA family but have used Halifax Visa, BOS Visa Amazon Mastercard, Capital One, Frizzels, RBS, Lloyds TSB and others and have never had any of them charged as a cash advance. No I do not have millions of credit cards - I use my parents cards as well sometimes.
