I have signed up once on Pigsback and then using a different name / card details on quidco for another account
Their balances are now at nearly 0p :P
How can we close our accounts? It looks like they keep your credit card number etc on record so after i get my points i will close the account.0 -

I am pretty sure that no one has posted another address other than the postmaster. Also the in/famous DarRagh suggests that you use the postmaster address but put MSE in the subject line as well. Also provide an alternative email address incase their reply has been treated as spam to your original address. Also for good measure he suggests that you include a daytime phone number.
I know some others on this thread have had more success phoning but i cant remember the number now.0 -
rebeccaj wrote:Which card co was that, out of interest? It is outrageous, especially as there seems to be no notification of that at the time.
It was one of the MBNA family.
And they don't warn you it is being treated as a cash advance. I assume that is the way blue square (Who we betted with)request it from your credit card.
I read this on referrals board on this forum about some on-line betting sites taking the money as cash advance. We logged in to your credit card accounts and both me and my husband where dismayed to find we had been charged and extra £3.

I hope they don't apply such a rule to me! There was no warning that any extra charges may be incurred.
Just depends on how the betting site requests it money. You will not know until the bill comes in or you check on-line.
I agree it is outrageous and no prior warning.

I have just tried it, the way i read it is that you dont have to bet anything at all, you just have to sign up for an account, NOT deposit any money and play a hand of poker with 'play money' (they have practice tables with fun money) then the idea is you enjoy it, sign up for an account and bet your house etc.
I have a betting account with paddypower and have to defend them in that they are one of the most trustworthy bookies out there, they are a massive company and totally reputable. !0
