If you're like me, you've never been brave enough to sign up for a site like Cyberslotz, and don't quite know what to expect. If that's the case for you, here is some reassurance ...
I decided to sign up, and followed the instructions given throughout the sign-up process. I deposited £5 through a credit card (which, as it happens, had a positive balance on it, so I wasn't "losing" anything, in one sense!). The site did not tell me that I was awarded a further free £5-worth of stake money, but on checking My Account, it was there. So I had a balance of £10.
I then clicked through to the roulette game, where I played two games for 10p each, winning one and losing one. (Last of the big spenders!).
I then decided to see if the site would let me withdraw the money I had in my account, which was, after the two roulette games, back at the £10 I started with.
Clicking on "Withdraw", the site allowed me to pay back into my credit card account the original £5 stake I "invested" and left the free £5 in my Cyberslotz account. I was not allowed to withdraw the full £10, reasonably enough.
If PB do indeed award the 2000 points then I shall be £20 better off, and still have £5 in Cyberlotz with which I could, in theory, win a fortune. Well, unlikely, but it won't have cost me a penny!
Hope this reassures those who, like me, do not like gambling sites!Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930 -
Still re Cyberslotz, dial-up users be warned that some of the games take an age to download to your PC. Example: "First Class" is 1280Kb.
I also found that I had no idea how to play some of the games, and having downloaded them, didn't bother and moved off elsewhere.
However, I'm not typical. Most people know how to play these all-dancing, all-beeping fruit machines. I haven't a clue!Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930 -
It let me withdraw the full amount, including the £5 free play money! I guess it's because I played more than 4 times my original stake money.
This is my summary for yesterday:
2006-01-06 21.86 GBP 28.40 GBP
The first amount is the amount I played, the second is how much I won. When taking into consideration what I lost, I was left with a total of £16.54, which it just allowed me to withdraw.
Your withdrawal of 16.54 GBP back to your card has been approved.
Gaming should be fun. Please play at Cyberslotz only with what you can afford.
Best regards and thank you for playing at Cyberslotz
With the 2000 points from pigsback for signing up, I'm up a total of £31.54In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
