I've had quite a few vouchers for CDWow as I've been on the Irish site for sometime. It does usually take a few days before they send you the notification, but the last one I sent for they didn't send me the email. However, when I went in and checked the voucher was there for me to use. So it would be worthwhile checking just in case you don't get the notification.0 -

Maybe someone knows something? It's the first time that I've ever entered it and it maybe the last

Does the timer on the crossword have anything to do with how wins?

I wouldn't imagine so. I would have thought it was a random correct answer although when I do the crossword I always leave it a few minutes before filling in the last answer so it doesn't look like I've copied the answers in. A majority of the time I do try and do it myself, I only refer to the answers on here when I'm stuck or in a hurry !There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

I couldn't find any mention of an admin fee, it must be well hidden. Still, once bitten twice shy0

I still haven't got back anything for my Christmas Number 1 bet. The only I can think of is that I didn't win but I'm sure there was no choice in the pool to pick the x-factor winner so that's why I went for other.
Can anyone clear up the confusion?

I say, chaps ... New crosswords on a Sunday??? That's not cricket, is it?
LOL. Well done to Palescene for spotting it, and thanks for publishing the answers! BTW, it shows just how sad a PB-er you are to be looking at the crossword page on a Sunday!! And New Year's Day, to boot!! (Or maybe you hadn't done it on Friday???)
But then, today has been one big surprise, hasn't it? Kazzea, falling asleep!!?? A dram too many???Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930 -

Ah, I think the answer is that I'm just confused a lot - especially at this time of year, I'm finding it hard to remember what day of the week it is so a look at the crossword page to see if I've already done it is pretty standard!
I am a sad and desperate individual. Despite the dearth of clickthroughs I think I've been onto PB every day over Christmas nonetheless. And like anandc84 I bet on Other on the Christmas No.1 and am just assuming it'll get sorted on Weds or after.
And I'm very impressed at Kazzea sleeping last night! We had fireworks outside from just before midnight until quarter past one. Lots of yawns from me today.Do I Need One Stops All Unnecessary Reckless Spending£2 CSC - £30 :kisses3:0
