Surely the bloke who gave you the wrong name should pay amendment costs - everything else would be advised before paying...

Same thing happened to me last year with Jet2.com on a flight to Amsterdam. However I was able to get to the sales desk at Leeds/Bradford well before the flight and explained the position. The booking clerk looked at her computer, asked for my passport and made the change. I aked how much and she said "no charge". I was probably just luccky getting a sympathetic clerk to what must be a common error.

nice story edandodo, i like the bit about that fred/charles bloke late sixties who is on holiday, i wonder where he has gone, my guess is malta or possibly benidorm

my local butchers has 2 butchers who are called fred and charles, they call themselves ed and chaz, mind you i always did think he was a ted and not a fred.
