Hugs P :grouphug: and anyone else that needs one.

I had a bit of an emotional chat to hubby last night - he wont get the message that it's over either, keeps making me hurt him over and over again.

I can't tell him everything will be okay, because it wont. :(

I don't want to give him false hope, but I hate kicking him when he's down. Just feel like crap really.

I suppose at the moment you feel like you're sounding like a broken record but there's nothing worse than giving false hope so you're doing the right thing. I can't help hoping that you do manage to work things out but I'm realistic enough to appreciate that it has to be the best for all four of you.

It does get easier as time moves on.

My friend and her ex-H went for counselling to talk and their first session was their only session because he finally listened to her and she was able to explain her feelings to him. prior to that it had been fairly acrimonious but was a real amicable split from then on. Even now they're still best friends but not husband and wife!

Gotta go for my 3rd sign language class. Still haven't learnt to sign '!!!!!! nappy' but there's another 8 weeks yet!

    Thanks lovely people xxx

Actually, I'm sort of coping okay in general (god bless noisy, busy, energetic kids), but I just have odd moments of suddenly feeling heartbroken, like when I look at the camper we worked so hard to afford sitting on the drive, and think about the plans we had to take the kids away in it next year.

Hugs IA if you are going through the same thing - it's truely horrible having to hurt someone you care about. xxx

Snaggles, IA and Pania (and Jinky though you're a really private person)

One thing you all have to remember is that at the end of any relationship you'll have a period of greiving whether or not you were the one to make the decision to end things. I can't remember but I think the Kubler-Ross five stages of grief are something like shock/denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.

In an ideal world we'd all sail from shock through to acceptance but it doesn't always happen and sometimes people seem to sail backwards or in circules before they finally reach that wonderful destination called 'Acceptance'!

I'm here if any of you ever just want to chat or sound off or just have someone listen without prejudice!

    :grouphug: to you all
