Help, need cheap flights to bangkok!

Can any if the travel bods on this site help me find a flight to Bangkok as cheap as possible(under £500).
I am travelling to the island of koh Samui. I can travel anytime from late Jan to early Feb. Am wanting 2 or 3 weeks. I have to be back in the UK on 1st and 2nd of March and then am free to travel again but have to be back in uk again for 17th 18th of April.
So this leaves 25th Jan to 1st March(incorporating a 2 to 3 week stay)
Or 3rd March to 17th April (incorporating a 2 to 3 week stay)
From the 19th April i am free to travel at anytime from there onwards but i would imagine this would be mre expensive as we will be into the summer season.
I have already got my digs sorted(these are set in stone). I was thinking of booking a flight from Bangkok to koh samui on the bangkok airlines website unless anyone can tell me of a cheaper company/way of doing this leg of the journey.
I would really appreciate any help anyone can give me on this.
Thanks in advance.

Airline Network is usually my first port of call for long haul prices. They show Etihad for £402 from Gatwick via Abu Dhabi in late-Jan. Their price from Manchester, however, is way over £500!

Thanks for the info Lesd,
i don't think i would like a stopover on such a long journey and on my own.
But thanks for the link to the website, i wll have a look.0 -
Try http://www.cheapflights.co.uk this will give you deals which companies are advertising. There seem to be some under £500 from Manchester.0

I sign up for ebookers newsletter and then their fare alerts so they email you with anything as soon as it comes in. Works really well.

I'm looking for flights to Bangkok in Jan/Feb, was sent details of a Royal Jordanian Air flight which was £327 (including taxes) Heathrow - Bangkok. When I telephoned it was available for the dates I wanted at that price but after looking at www.airlinequality.com I decided I'd rather pay more with another airline, so I didn't book it! This was on 2nd December.
The only difference from usual was that they gave an 0870 number to call, I just asked them to call me back!
Good luck - we're planning a similar type trip too!

Just been looking into this recently.
Re international flights, Etihad have some good deals so just search on the days of the week they fly on the travelocity or lastminute websites and you should get a good deal.
Re getting to Samui. Bangkok Airlines are probably a cheap and fast way but another way is to get a train down south and then a ferry. This gives you a chance to check out some scenery too.0
