European citybreak in January - where?

Krakow. A wonderful small city with hundreds of bars - mostly in vaulted cellars. In winter the hotel prices are at their lowest. Lots of history, beautiful old buildings around the old town square and museums/art galleries/churches aplenty. Been twice in the last 12 months and can't wait to go again!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

Prague is very popular, plenty to see and do and very reasonable. Quite fancy the botel racek myself, its a boat which is a hotel and its in a central location as some hotels can be a bit remote. There is another botel but cant remember its name. January is a cheap time to go, mind you most places are reasonable because most people are skint after christmas.0

Thanks for the feedback everyone... I've decided on Berlin, just checking out flights and accommodation now.0
