Are Boots CS good to deal with for points issues?

Reason I ask is because I decided that with the current points offers I would treat myself to some GHDs:

    GHD Styler £98.00
    Heat pouch £3.99
    TOTAL - £101.99

Free delivery when you spend £40
1500 points when you spend £75
1000 points when you spend £100

Which should give me 2904 points, but my confirmation email says 1943 points, even though it shows the point codes applied.

I also ordered the ghd's - you will see I had problems with my 1st order but my second one shows 2900 points!

The 1500 points is not a code - it is applied automatically the 1000 points is the only code used.

re the R&M mirror it looks like if you buy 3 items it is charging you 342. it should be 342 =£12. less pinkie =£7.00 It must be because your other things had the green sticker on, they don't work on 34 2 gifts...however if you want the mirror try buying it with something else ie lunch, a magazine or toothpaste etc it's worked for me 3 times.. the Sa said don't think it will work but it did. :)

Just saw on hotukdeals that someone found Lynx Click shower gel for 50p and Lynx Vice bodyspray for 63p at Boots. Obviously, it's probably not on clearance at all Boots, but it's worth keeping an eye out if you like Lynx. Here's the OP.

I got some of the lynx shower gel yesterday on 3 4 2, so 1.00 for 3. I thought I'd mentioned this in my post last night. Although I might've forgotten to say it was click:o

I've noticed when trying to order on dot com that sometimes when you type in the promotional code it registers the fact a code has been used, but doesn't add those points to your total points IYSWIM. I usually refresh the page, or sign out then log in and try again if that happens. I only check out once the points total at the very top of the page (where the basket logo is) is correct. Not sure if that helps but worth double checking, as some peeps seem to be having trouble with the codes being added. x

I have had a problem ths weekend too , a similar thing happened to me but it gave me even less points although correct points were on confirmation screen...I noticed on my confirmation email and rang CS but they have told me there is nothing that can be done until order has been received by me  ( mine is the same as yours BTW shows relevant offer for 1500 and my points from my code but it does no add up iykwim)
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

Today is the first and probably the last time I will ever use .com! It is a rubbish website and keeps crashing. I am happy because I got the correct amount of points on my 2nd order but not happy as I cannot cancel the 1st one online. In the order tracking section it says

    Order details

This page allows you to check the status of your Boots.com order. Click on the carrier link to track your order on their website. It is possible to cancel your order using the button at the bottom of the page, providing it has not yet reached our warehouse. In this eventuality, please contact Customer Care on 0845 6090055 (local rate). It is also possible to reorder the whole order by clicking the button at the bottom

But no button!!!!! I will call them tomorrow.
