I got this voucher at the weekend and took it into the Gyle Edinburgh Boots where they have an Arden counter. The EA rep was totally mystified by it as she had not been informed about the offer at all. She was in the middle of suggesting I call back in a couple of days when another customer turned up with the same voucher, plus the rest of the page from the magazine which gives all the details. the Arden rep (who was lovely, btw) threw up her hands and laughed and gave us both a compact, saying she'd sort it out later.

I did notice later though that the Prima on sale in the same Boots was still the November one. So maybe Boots weren't expecting the December Prima to have hit the stands yet? I would suggest that anyone going in for this compact in the next couple of days takes the whole page, which explains the offer very well.

It's definately an offer worth getting, btw. The compact comes in its own little velveteen bag and is boxed and sealed up in cellophane. The compact itself is a sort of faux tortoiseshell effect with a 20's themed picture on the front. Very pretty indeed and would make a lovely present, especially if the Prima is only costing £1.50 in Asda. The colours are a bit subdued, definately not for a high fashion young miss with a taste for glitz. But speaking as a slightly older person (ahem) I think they're very wearable colours. I'm glad I got this, especially as I'm generally too skint to afford Arden.

And just as a bonus I enjoyed the Prima mag so much I took out a subscription. Using my Tesco points, of course! (Works out at £7 of Tesco Deals for a one year sub.)

PS. Managed to find a picture....

I've got the Prima voucher but none of my local stores stock EA, can anyone help me out by getting me the compact if I sent the voucher on?

    Thanks,
    Sharon x

Had a great day today in Boots (though ever so tiring - spent way too long out and now I'm in agony with my sciatica and keep feeling dizzy etc too - in lots of trouble with both hubby and my mum for being stupid and doing too much :o ). Anyway, had a great day and have bought loads for hardly any pennies and am really pleased as it will really help towards xmas.

    Shop 1
    No7 mens p&p serum £17.75
    fcuk weekend bag £14
l'oreal men expert vitalift double action £13.99 (£0 as 342)
    no7 gwp

used pinky, ts, 250points on mens no7, 1/2 price no7 men, 1/2 price fcuk weekend bag.

    Payed £5.87 YES £5.87 woohoo +250xtra points &received ts

then 3 boring shops with no7 mens/womens 342 but plenty of stocking fillers (9 various skincare/bodycare products) for around £12 in cash and 250 extra points.

I also did the r&m xmas 342 glitch once with mirror and twice with brush and got some lovely small toys/books for my daughter and the new baby for xmas.

Spent around £45 (with making money up for more tillspits etc) and am really pleased though shop1 is my favourite :D .

Manchester arndale/market street was sold out of r&m mirrors (I got the last 1). Did find some clearance near the haircare - there was hair accessories from around 30p, toni &guy mens styling products from 75p, other haircare from £1 - £3 and some nice pantene brunette expressions/blonde equivelant gift sets for £2.50 (f/s shampoo, conditioner and styling product).

I now have 3 pinky&tillspits left and am trying to decide whether to go back to manchester before they run out :p

sorry for long post but I'm excited about my good day.

Is there any other branches in manchester with ss tills (other than trafford centre)?

I dont think so, gutted to hear the Arndale has ran out of the mirrors i was planning a trip there today to do some 342 combos with the chrome wine stoppers set, which i think will be a fab xmas present for a couple of colleagues teamed with a bottle of wine. Might have to go to the Trafford now
Biggest wins to date: XBox ~ iPod Touch ~ Prada Handbag worth £1000 ~

:TThanks to all that contribute to the Competitions Board:T

Thanks for that - I was hoping the fort might as I need the m&p shop for some new blankets anyway.
There may be more today as I think boots have a delivery on Tuesdays (though I could be wrong). Also there could have been some in the back that they just hadn't filled up with. They had a fair few brushes left.

I also got the Oral B Triumph on Fri it was £69.99 (already 1/2 price) I used the 1500 Oral B voucher , £5 electrical voucher and got 1000 pts when you spend £50 so really thats another £30 off. My bf will be really chuffed with this for xmas as it has a seperate Bluetooth bit that tells how long to brush each part of the mouth, he loves gadgets so hopefully this will appeal. Thanks to the lovely bootsers who sent me vouchers.

Apparently the new vouchers starting Wednesday are for skincare :)
