For Sarah Skint
Hi Sarah, I been trying to PM you, but your mailbox is full.~ What goes around comes around ~0 -
Hi quick question....those of you who have the oral b sonic....is it worth using my points to buy it for £64.99 now its on half price? I have a standard oral b electric one. Is it worth the price or shall i save my points for a petite star zia via direct? (not that I need another buggy!)
My Sonic complete died after 2 years. My brother's one died after 6months. I bought these both when they were on offer for £29.99 at Superdrug. Although under guarantee, My brother is living abroad so we couldn't get it fixedThe electrical shop he took it to said it was a problem with the motherboard
So, in short....don't bother getting one on your points..very disappointed with Oral B
On a different note..I have 1xTS and 2xpinkies 2x250 points from inside the gwp and want to use them tomorrow before the 342 ends on No7...Mum wants a No7 Eye cream...whats the best combo for me to use?0 -
Hello everyone,
I had a peek at the offers on my Mum's AC the other day and noticed that she had a points voucher for 500 points whn buying the No 7 Radiance Brush Foundation whilst I only had a 200 points voucher. I've heard that some people were offered a mixture of amounts and were able to use them together. Would I therefore be able to buy this, use my Mum's 500 points voucher, my 200 points voucher and a till spit to get it super cheap with lots of return points or is this not allowed as the 500 point voucher has my Mum's name on it rather than mine? TIA.
Nuninge
I used 500 (DD), 300 (DD) and 200 (Mine) all together in one transaction

i just asked for it, the sa, was more than happy to just let me have it without the skin care consultation
scanned at £10 then the voucher took the £10 off, this was the one that was £25..
so you could probably grab one from the counter and take it to a normal sa and get the voucher scanned
for those that don't know what i'm on about, you get the voucher from this months prima..£2.50
big thanks to the op who posted this offer
I got this voucher at the weekend and took it into the Gyle Edinburgh Boots where they have an Arden counter. The EA rep was totally mystified by it as she had not been informed about the offer at all. She was in the middle of suggesting I call back in a couple of days when another customer turned up with the same voucher, plus the rest of the page from the magazine which gives all the details. the Arden rep (who was lovely, btw) threw up her hands and laughed and gave us both a compact, saying she'd sort it out later.
I did notice later though that the Prima on sale in the same Boots was still the November one. So maybe Boots weren't expecting the December Prima to have hit the stands yet? I would suggest that anyone going in for this compact in the next couple of days takes the whole page, which explains the offer very well.
It's definately an offer worth getting, btw. The compact comes in its own little velveteen bag and is boxed and sealed up in cellophane. The compact itself is a sort of faux tortoiseshell effect with a 20's themed picture on the front. Very pretty indeed and would make a lovely present, especially if the Prima is only costing £1.50 in Asda. The colours are a bit subdued, definately not for a high fashion young miss with a taste for glitz. But speaking as a slightly older person (ahem) I think they're very wearable colours. I'm glad I got this, especially as I'm generally too skint to afford Arden.
And just as a bonus I enjoyed the Prima mag so much I took out a subscription. Using my Tesco points, of course! (Works out at £7 of Tesco Deals for a one year sub.)
PS. Managed to find a picture....Val.0 -

HTHs
When I was in today, I thought of that very thing -- that since a gwp is on now, when it goes off the s&g would likely go to 342. I decided I wanted the gwp more than additional items, as without the gwp it didn't seem as interesting, lol.0 -
