be eve better if you could use them at the same time and it actually did get you £10 off boots, especially as the 3 for 2 runs out on tuesday...

good offer though! wish my prescription was that cheap- I have an astigmatism (cannot spell that!) and the cheapest lenses I can get are £150 without the fee for frames. Its too bad for fairer priced lenses but not bad enough to get any help from the NHS :(

My local Boots does the S&G reduced thingy when you pay with points, so I was thinking – would I be able to get 2 of the body butters (£9.99 cash or 666 points) and the gwp. The till will scan them as £19.98 then when I press the button to pay with points (ss till), it will knock it down to 1332 points. Has anyone tried this? If so then you could possibly get it for even less than that with different combinations of the three S&G's on offer?

I am hoping to try 2 items tomorrow, Liverbird & Jinx did it today with 2 items and got the GWP. see her post #2009

No POLLS! You can't pull out, you were the headliner! I can just imagine you sashaying down to the ringside with all your hot dolls (I could have a word with the !!!!!CatDolls, they would love to accompany you). LOL.

I am passing the funny posts honour to SANDRA SCARLETT. Everyone join her fan club now. I'm so last month!

Not entirely sure if this is true or not, but I asked the NO 7 SA in Leeds last week where the men's GWP (mini black bag) was when I was doing the combo, and she said they had run out, and would probably not be getting anymore in. I am sure someone said the new style GWP was coming out? Anyway, I suggest you get your paws on one this weekend. It's a great gift for a bloke, looks dead expensive too. I think I am going to keep all 8 I have bar one I am giving to my friend for Xmas next week.

And have a KING OF SHAVES voucher ready in your purses. I have just realised this. Got some reduced KING OF SHAVES stuff last week, also on 3 4 2, I could have had the first lot for £0.25 with the voucher, and the second lot for £0.50! Tsk!

Anyway, time to do press ups, cook, clean, babysit and BOOTS. Have fun lovely ladies! Hugs to one and all from me and teddy. ;):p;)

  • Hi been avidly reading all your post for ideas before I go shopping this morning. It seems to be there is a 'Boots language' and I seem to have got the gist of most of it but could someone please clarify the meaning of the word 'pinkie'!!!

    Thanks very much,

    KLM

a pinky is the pink no7 voucher. T/S is a reciept like version of it... hth

Want to use a T/S and pinky to get myself the no7 gwp when it comes out but if I spend £20 exactly for example and then get my ten pound off with the vouchers, do I still get the gwp? do i have to pay mr B £20 of my money, or just spend £20 , iugwim. Tia.

Still praying they'll be a S&g ootw :) (hope hasnt been one already, first I can remember was the tanning set...)

All the other GWP's have worked on the spend before any discounts or vouchers, so hopefully this one will be the same. However, as others have said, it's best not to try it on the No7 counter as they are more reluctant to take a mixture of vouchers and also some No7 SA's have said you have to actually spend the £20 for instance, which is incorrect.
