  • My local Boots does the S&G reduced thingy when you pay with points, so I was thinking – would I be able to get 2 of the body butters (£9.99 cash or 666 points) and the gwp. The till will scan them as £19.98 then when I press the button to pay with points (ss till), it will knock it down to 1332 points. Has anyone tried this? If so then you could possibly get it for even less than that with different combinations of the three S&G's on offer?

    I forgot question 4 lol

There are mens bits if you look. Quite alot really! But if your looking to do with the ruby and millie mirror, these may help as are £5 :)
    :)

Is there some sort of Massive Error By Boots, that will let you deduct both the pinkie AND the t/s split if you buy an r & m mirror?

And does it only work with the mirror? BTW I think you're all brilliant on this site!

A bit confusing as my local has s&g prices ending in 99p and one closeish has them ending in 00p, so depends on store prices!!! But maybe if I presume your local has them at 99p as that is worst case scenario?

    Body Butter 666 pts (£9.99)
    Exfoliating body 433 pts (£6.49)
    Wash 333 pts (£4.99)

    So possibly...
    Butter and body £16.48/1099 pts
    Butter and wash x 2 £19.97/1332 pts
    body x 2 and wash £17.97/1199 pts
    body and wash x 2 £16.47/1099 pts
    wash x 4 £19.96/1332 pts

So I guess a butter/body or wash/body are cheapest at 1099pts, but other combos may be more useful

    Yup :)
It works as pinky and till spit have different barcodes. So some SA'S (like ones I tried to avoid today lol) will not let you use both, which is why so many try for SS tills if possible :)

The till spit and pinky combo works on ALL no7 electricals, skincare, cosmetics, accessories and mens etc, which are on 3 for 2 anyway at the moment.

However, the only 3 for 2 xmas gifts it seems to work on are the r&m mirror £6, r&m brush £8 and the r&m perfect or bright eyes set £15

Oops, just realised the maths mistake in my post, should have been 1332 points for the 2 butters!

Thanks for the combinations, think I'll try one tomorrow and just play dumb if it goes pear shaped!!

Oh I need help here. What gift do you get with the Men's No 7 stuff. Do you just pick anything you fancy? So like, do you take FOUR things to the s/s till, 3 of which cost £5, and put these 3 through, and it discounts the third cos it's a 3 for 2 whatsit. And then you put your fourth freebie gift through and it says "Hi gorgeous. You don't have to pay a THING".

Then you put your pinkie through, then your t/s, and you've got 4 things for nothing? Really? Are there any Boots open 24 hours that I could go to?

    Sandra Scarlett

    Hi Sandra

For the mens No 7 products they are on a 3 for 2 promotion. You buy 3 single items - most are priced at £6.50 and you get the GWP. So you pay for 2 = £13 minus the pinkie leaves £8 to pay(or £3 if you also use a TS) and you get 3 full size items and the GWP (a lovely mens toilet bag full of goodies from the mens No 7 range) A lovely gift. Hope this helps

ps it does not have to be a ss till unless you are using the extra TS (some normal tills also accept both)

Have just realised the time!!! It's a quarter to one, and I've been awake since 4.30 this morning.

One last question (sorry!). From where do I collect my GWP? Do I just pick it up and go to either a SA or the S/S till with it. They say you're never too old to learn. I've learnt so much in 2 days!

I thought I was pretty savvy when it came to saving money, but never thought I'd be able to get so many Xmas gifts for so little. And nice, respectable ones at that. Not some bath cubes with a name nobody's heard of. You are all so lovely and helpful as well. Very much appreciated.

So tomorrow, I shall dash off to Boots, and then it's Strictly Come Dancing and X Factor - what a great day!

The No. 7 men's GWP's are usually on the No. 7 display but, as I am sure you will have read, best not to pay for your shopping at the No. 7 tills
