I phoned CS about S&G. Had a bloke on the phone who didn't really know what he was talking about. Said it was only on offer in some stores (well done mate!). Said I could take the items back for a refund, which I did. Happened on a mini plan. Say I bought 2 x the S&G lot and got 2 x GWP, and then spent another £5, I would be able to use a 300 extra points coupon when you spend £35 and my double points coupon and what I thought was a 350 points when you spend £35 (which was actually £40, so it bleeped and didn't work!). Managed to do it. By golly, it was all rather heavy, plus I had my big gym bag with me. And when I went to put the bag down, the belt on my jeans went capoot. So I was walking back to the train station with lots of heavy bags, trying to keep my jeans up which kept slipping down as I am only 29 waist now and the jeans were a size 32 and trying to catch the train on time! Managed to get home in one piece without suffering a Janet Jackson style wardrobe malfunction and my arms are still intact. Woohoo. LOL. *** Bit of a rest and then I think I am calling CS again. *** Saw some Time Delays Age Spot cream thing or whatever on £1 near the clearance shelf at the front of the store.

    2 quick questions -

The r&m mirror/brush 342 glitch - Can this be done on self serve or do the gifts have alarms on them and need to be done at manned till?

    .
I did mine on an SS till no beeps or alarms, just the rather loud automated Boots till voice :rotfl:saying "£1 " Shhhhhh....... I don't want Mr Boots to hear!

The brushes I bought weren't alarmed. They were also with the mirrors on the Christmas gifts section...not the RM counter.

Thanks for that - I bought my daughter some socks from mini mode t'other week and paid at the ss - it hadn't occured to me that they might alarm something for £2 lol

lol I do wish they didn't shout so loud - boots should be more considerate and realise we need privacy when it comes to taking advantage of glitches :rotfl: .
There's a cash machine in my local whsmith that makes an alarm like noise as it spits your money out - there had may as well be a tannoy announcement letting all the scruffbags know that somebody is drawing money out so go help yourselves lol

I recently bought a No7 stay perfect lip laquer and picked up the wrong colour but I had no problem in changing for the right colour as the seal had not been opened
Unfortunately, these are not sealed in my local Boots. Should they be?

I have considered emailing Boots to suggest that No7 cosmetics are sealed in the same way that 17 cosmetics now seem to be, as I much prefer to buy sealed items!

UG is on offer at 2 for £6 but that includes an elixir set which is priced at £9.99 each!

    ;)
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".
